Day 13 Life drawing

So doing more life drawing on pixel lovely and started the 2 hour class mode and was about up to the second 5 minute pose when I accidentally hit the stop button rather than the pause (pausing and unpausing lets you see how much time remaining) which means that I'll need to start it again, so taking a quick break and will do so, but here is what I got:

I've been feeling a little directionless in my practice lately, and think that it may be a lack of focus, of progress, so I've decided that I'll put the practice towards completing a more finished, polished piece for the week.

Day 12 Life drawing and doodle

Did a 10 minute life drawing session from Pixel lovely again, this time using the artrage application though, decided to start colouring with pastels, although ran out of time for that.

I then did a doodle using pastels in artrage.

Since that I've been going through a video tutorial on comic book colouring, which I won't be posting here as I'm using the Line art supplied with the tutorial, and as its not mine, I'm not sure what the copy right restrictions would be even though I did the colouring.  Still going well, I'll do some line art and apply the techniques to colouring that.

I will be continuing the solar system exercise this afternoon.

Day 11 Felines and Lifedrawing

This morning I did two sketches one of a cat, and one life drawing, again using the pixel lovely site set to 10 minutes.

I'm now going to do some exercises in Maya :)

Day 10 insects

For some reason I'm really enjoying drawing insects at the moment, I think its the exoskeleton :)
